Road Patrollers
Onerahi Primary is very lucky to have Road Patrollers at their school. Every year before the road patrollers become actual road patrollers they fill out a form that contains questions like: why do you want to be a road patroller and what are your personal interests?
The road patrollers keep people safe while they’re crossing the road. If these road patrollers were not doing there responsibilities it could be very dangerous for the all the pupils at the school.
Road Patroller Hinewa from room 18 says: “Road patrol keeps young students safe on the road. Everyday before and after school road patrollers go to the front and the back gate so they can patrol and keep people safe.”
Road Patroller Lauren from room 18 says: “I think that being a road patroller is very important. It keeps little children safe on the road.
